Little River Band was awesome. They went into a Led Zeppelin song and then cut it. The crowd wanted more of that. I just wish they would've played more rockin' songs. I wasn't expecting them to bring it like they did, but I was well impressed.
Step Afrika is very talented, but not very good when you're the last (not to mention headliner) set and it's getting late. People starting leaving about 4 to 5 songs into his set as so did my party. Played too many new songs that no one knew. Plus all his songs have the same sound and kind of put you to sleep.
Kalapana sounded like a broken band. They needed more volume on the sax. The group needs to work on performing together. The sound was not balanced and they did not sound like they had it all together.
ANOTHER THING...THE SPEAKERS IN THE GRASS SECTION BY THE MIDDLE RIGHT SOUND BLOWN. I COULD LISTEN TO BETTER SOUND IN MY CAR OR AT HOME. DISTORTION IS NOT WHAT I PAYED TO HEAR AT A LIVE MUSIC VENUE. THE SHELL NEEDS TO FIX THEIR EQUIPMENT AND HAVE BETTER SOUND TECHNICIANS TO GIVE THE PEOPLE ULTIMATE QUALITY ESPECIALLY WHEN PAYING SUCH HIGH PRICES FOR TICKETS.
